In response to a global need, Lauren organized “Gifts For Africa”, a clothing and toiletry drive for children in Nyahururu, Kenya. This effort has obtained nearly75% participation among South Atlanta School of Law and Social Justice Homerooms and advisories. Lauren also optimized her own writing talent and entrepreneurial spirit by creating a highly trafficked blog that discusses issues from popular culture, social awareness and even politics from a teen’s perspective. Lauren’s strong character and integrity have caused her to be elected to the position of “advisory president”.  This role requires Lauren to lead about twenty female students in daily thirty minute discussions of sensitive life issues.  It is our distinct pleasure to be associated with a person of such high quality and we wish you the best in your future. Lauren plans to attend Pace University, New York.
