Graduating High School Seniors Scholarships are available here! Deadline for applications March 1, 12 Midnight! Submit your application now! Here is what we offer to qualifying high school seniors: $1,000 scholarships funded over a four year period. Qualifications are simple: 1. You have to
really need the help. 2. The applicant must submit a “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” (FAFSA). A copy of your student Aid Report must accompany your application 3. A minimum GPA OF 2.5 at graduation If you meet all of these qualifications you should take the next step and apply today at:

a wholly owned subsidiary, the EDDI (Education, Determination, Dedication,
Inspiration Inc) organization together with all of its plans and aspirations. Though EDDI is its own organization, all of its
decisions are ratified by the Foundation Board of Directors. The EDDI primary purpose is to raise financial literacy awareness among
students preparing for college. Corporate Sponsorship We received our first corporate sponsorship of a four year scholarship for a deserving high school senior in need. The sponsor is the American Institutes For Research (AIR) in Washington, D. C. The amount of the award is $1,000.00. This scholarship was named for its donor, The American Institutes for Research Scholarship for High School Seniors. It was a four year scholarship of $250.00 per year available to the student who applied, qualified and was selected. Maintenance of all requirements have been required to receive the funds annually. This scholarship was presented to Iesha W. Gadsden, 2013 graduating class Valedictorian from Spingarn High School in Washington, D. C. 2014 The Family Foundation 4 Learning attended a Family Reunion in Peoria, Illinois for one of the founding families of this foundation. The World’s Largest Sturdivant Family Reunion was attended by over three hundred and Fifty family members in July of 2014 in Peoria, Illinois. We were accep[ted as a future recipient of funding for scholarships from this group. 2015 Stay tuned……there’s more to come. On September 1, 2012, Syna Sturdivant joined hundreds of walkers in the Disney Family Fun walk at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. A full announcement is on the "Syna's Walk 2012" Page of this web site. The deadline for donations has been extended to the end of October 2012. Four additional outstanding high school graduates have received awards in 2012. They are Edwin R. Ochoa of Los Angels, CA, Nikeila C. Jensen of Moorpark, CA, Amber D. Baker of Los Angeles, CA and Levi Moellering of Moorpark, CA. All of these students exemplify the criteria of the F.A.M.I.L.Y. Foundation and are the top four students of our evaluation process. C., Teanna Dawntia Glass of Atlanta, GA. and Shantinay Lashay Barnes of Atlanta, GA., The four first high school graduates to receive this award, have completed their first year in college and we expect to receive news from them any day about their experiences. All of these students exemplify the criteria of the F.A.M.I.L.Y. Foundation and are the top four students of our evaluation process. On September 4, 2010 Syna Sturdivant will walk in the Disneyland 5k Fun Run/Walk at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California.
Syna has asked her friends and family to make donations to this foundation in support of her walk.

Our Latest addition to the website is another page and a new application with instructions. Under the "Services" page there is now a "Family Financial Assistance" page. This new page gives a quick summary of the services available to families in need. The application and instructions for its completion are on the "Applications" page. If you would like to sponsor a Family in Need please contact us and we will help you determine how best to accomplish your goal.
We are very pleased that we have now added two new pages to this website under the "Services" page, Educational Assistance and Applications.

The student applying must complete and return the application before the deadline in order to be considered. We have initiated two new ways for you to support this work.

2. Career site for applicants and for employers
a. Applicants send your resume preferably in MS Word format to our email address. b. Employers send the job description to our email address with application instructions. If we have an immediate match we will make the connection.
We will otherwise list each entry on the appropriate page. All personal and sensitive information will be witheld. Applicants may apply directly to the employer when they see a position of interest. Lapel Pins!
